When I work on his or other drawings I've done with a lot of detail work in one sitting sometimes the detail becomes my focal point. It's almost like pointillism and a Seurat painting. When I hit that point, I have to put the drawing away and sometimes for a day or two. It's sort of like I have to reset my brain. When I look at it again after a day or so, I see Lars again and not a bunch of weird shapes and shades. My head works in a weird way when it comes to drawing...but it works obviously.
